From Nuarsaz to Corgnolaz: A Route Between History and Nature

Starting from Nuarsaz, which can be reached via the paved road that branches off from the regional road to Valtournenche after the village of Buisson (near the parking lot of the cable car to Chamois), itinerary No. 2 unfolds through enchanting alpine scenery. The climb begins on the orographic left of the Chamois stream, in an environment that perfectly blends the wild beauty of the Alps with traces of rural life that have marked the centuries. As you progress, the trail traverses varied environments, passing from lush forests to alpine meadows, offering the traveler a variety of breathtaking views. The transition from the left to the orographic right of the stream marks an important stage of the trail, introducing the section leading to Ville, where nature seems to explode in all its splendor.

An Accessible and Scenic Route

Upon reaching Località Ville, the walk continues on a dirt road that makes the ascent to Corgnolaz easier. This section proves to be particularly appreciated by both experienced walkers and those who are approaching hiking for the first time, thanks to the gentleness of the path that allows them to fully enjoy the surrounding landscape without excessive fatigue.
