Fénis Castle

If you are looking for a place to see in the Aosta Valley and are passionate about history and architecture, you cannot miss a visit to the castle of Fénis, one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval fortresses in the Aosta Valley.

The castle stands on a hill overlooking the surrounding landscape and is surrounded by a double ring of crenellated walls and as many as 13 towers.
Inside you can admire the frescoes decorating the halls and chapels, the weapons and armor of the lords who lived there, and the courtyard with the well and cistern.

Those who visit Fénis Castle call it a magical and evocative place that will take you back in time and introduce you to the traditions and legends of this fascinating land.

Quart

With just over 4,000 inhabitants, Quart is a small Aosta Valley municipality where you can immerse yourself in true Aosta Valley tradition.

The municipality located at 536 meters above sea level, is full of magnificent places from which to appreciate the view at any time of the day.
It includes many small villages one different from the other up to more than 1,500 meters above sea level.

In Quart it is also possible to visit the Villair Castle and the remains of a Neolithic Necropolis.

Gran Paradiso Park

Established more than a century ago, the Gran Paradiso Park gives its visitors incredible views.
The park covers more than 70 thousand hectares of land and is home to numerous animal species, first and foremost the ibex, the symbol of Gran Paradiso.

There are so many facilities in the park that allow tourists to stay and enjoy the experience even better.

Bard Castle

If you are passionate about history, art and nature, you cannot miss a visit to the Fortress of Bard, a splendid fortress that dominates the Aosta Valley with its ancient and modern charm. The Fortress of Bard is an early 19th-century masterpiece of military architecture, built on a rocky promontory that controlled access to the valley. Today it is a world-class cultural center, hosting museums, exhibitions, events and activities for all tastes and ages.
