Fénis Val Clavalité
A pristine valley where nature reigns supreme
(3,515 meters), this valley hides traces of a past of mining activity and a paved road network that testifies to ancient human presence.
A Route in the Heart of the Valley Accessing Val Clavalité The journey to discover Val Clavalité begins from the main town of Fénis, proceeding to the picturesque hameau of Misérègne until reaching Cerise.
From here, a dirt road leads to the belvedere, from where the real entrance to the valley opens up, with the hameau of Clavalité serving as a crossroads for numerous hiking trails.
The Gilles Borroz Bivouac: A Refuge among the Peaks Inaugurated on July 15, 2006, and dedicated to Gilles Borroz, a Fénis town councilor between 1990 and 1995, the Gilles Borroz bivouac stands at an altitude of 2,150 meters (7,500 feet).
Located along the Chemin des lacs, it offers a strategic foothold for hikers heading to Pointe Tersive or Mount Glacier, promising high-altitude adventures and breathtaking views.
